A tool failed, or gave you the wrong result

Use the feedback form rather than email. It records which tool you were on and which product you came from, which saves a round of questions. Tell us the tool, what you expected and what you got, and whether it happened once or every time.

You want a tool or a setting we do not have

Also the feedback form, under tool request. We genuinely read these and a reasonable part of the site exists because somebody asked. Describing the document and the task is more useful to us than naming a feature, because there is often an easier way to get you there.

Billing, subscriptions and refunds

Email us and include the address you subscribed with, and whether you paid on the website or through the Android app on Google Play. That one detail decides where the subscription lives and what we can do with it, so mentioning it up front avoids a reply that only asks for it.

Privacy, your data and account deletion

You can delete your account and everything attached to it yourself, without writing to anyone. If you would rather ask a question about how a particular tool handles files first, the privacy policy covers each one, and email works for anything it does not answer.

Copyright and content complaints

Send these by email with enough detail to identify the material and your authority to act on it. Our copyright page sets out what to include, which makes the process considerably quicker for both sides.

Press, partnerships and anything else

Email is the right channel. The same small group that writes the code reads it, so you will not be routed through a form queue, and a specific question tends to get a specific answer.

Elsewhere

We post updates when a tool ships or changes. Social messages are seen, but anything that needs a file looked at or an account checked should go to email.
